GOALKEEPER: BUFFON; 36years Buffon is known for his "outstanding shot-stopping" and for being "a vocal organizer of the defense and a key dressing room personality." He is currently the most expensive goalkeeper of all time following his £32.6m transfer from Parma to Juventus in 2001. Buffon also holds the record for the most clean sheets in Serie A



RIGHT BACK: CAFU; 44years He is regarded to be one of the greatest fullbacks ever. He is the only player to have appeared in three World Cup finals, winning two, 1994 and 2002. Cafu is the most-capped Brazilian men's player of all time with 142.



CENTER BACK: THURAM; 42years He was known for his strength, pace, stamina and his outstanding physical and technical attributes, his ability to read the game, and his marking and tackling. he was equally competent offensively as he was defensively, and could play on either flank, often alternating between playing as a right back or as a centreback, and even being deployed in midfield on occasion.


CENTER BACK: MALDINI; 46years Maldini is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of all time. Maldini was renowned for his technical ability, athleticism, sliding tackles, stamina, and pacy energetic forward runs as a left-back. He was also an excellent crosser of the ball, and had the unique capacity to be an effective attacking threat, scoring and assisting several goals throughout his career, as well as being an attentive defender. He was frequently capable of beating several players when undergoing individual dribbling runs at speed, and he was also equally competent in one on one situations, due to his ball control, acceleration, agility, balance, quick feet, flair, and creativity.
