The League Management Company must be commended for staging a successful 2013/2014 GLO premier league. The company is gradually improving the quality of our professional league and the standard of the league have improved tremendously in all parameters overtime. The success story of the company can be traced to the work ethics of its members and the support they get from corporate organizations. Also it is worthy to note that with the recently approved new structure of the league by the Nigerian Football Federation, the league company is well strategized for the challenges in the future. One of the areas the League Management Company need to strategies upon is on corporate sponsorship. A well packaged league will naturally attract corporate sponsors and with a well detailed marketing strategy and improved benefits for sponsors, the LMC will be smiling to the bank. There are many aspects of the league that needs sponsorship and it is the duty of the marketing department to establish them and involve professionals who know how to source for them. The corporate sponsors could even help to offset the bills of the LMC thereby creating the autonomy the league caves for. The money made from the sponsors must be evenly distributed and every payment made must be well accounted for as the future of the LMC and Corporate sponsors relationship depends on it.
