The southern Asian country has densely being populated by migrant who came in search of green pastures and a better life for themselves and their family but find only squalor, low wages and backbreaking work in stifling heat.
(Farhad Berahman) An Iranian photographer shared the heart breaking pictures which he snapped in Sonapur, the unofficial name for a work camp on the outskirts of Dubai, located far away from the luxury, soaring skyscrapers and vast wealth that the United Arab Emirates city is renowned for. Sonapur - ironically, the name means 'City of Gold' in Hindi - is home to more than 150,000 workers, mostly from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China. The bitter aspect of all this is that, most of them were living a more better life in their countries before going to dubai. they never knew what they were getting themselves into untill they got there. they lived a more richer and better lifein their home country. Then they should visit the Nepal/indian/palestine Embassy in dubai. I am positive that they exist. If their own country refuses to help them then its a different matter.

na immigrants o, them still get public kitchen, with gas cooker and a/c everywhere. meanwhile in some countries its own citizens cant even afford kerosene stove how much more air conditioned room.
