I hope she gave credit to the author of "Hospital by the River" Dr Catherine Hamlin.

From the trailer I see the story in the book all over the movie.

Linus is her husband surname! That's what she uses now! but people still call her Stephanie Okereke!
she is not trying to fit into any system.
