Piper’s Diary He wipes the pipe clean Blows in wind to clear the hollow Getting his tool set and skills right Today, He’s got praises to sing To earn his thirty pieces of silver Two days ago, he gave damnation Yelled at the robber for taking it all He lightened the faces of the robbed He made himself a god, a deliverer! He put his name in the robber’s head! Yesterday, the robber called It’s not about the status quo It’s not about the piper’s trodden fans It’s about his tune, the delivery! feeling igitee's silent scream, it conveys a powerful message, lucidly depicted so well that you can accurately visualize the scenerio and be moved to tears. This are the kind of poems i appreciate, not some rambling of incoherent rhymes.. 2 Likes |

Like the sons' of the prophets Standing in awe as an axe head floats Like the poor widow of zarephath Imagining what tops up her oil Like the multitude that left egypt Wondering what keeps the wall of water standing Like the family of lazarus Sitting to eat alongside a once rottened man. Like the little boy with bread and fish Asking how thousands ate that! In my shoes You that wear masks In colours and shapes, Thinking no one sees you; You that smile in day And frown at night Wishing your day never end And the nights never existed; You are in my shoes Like sands in my feet And the world over my head. Yes you! I see you They see you But am seeing you Different than they do They can see your Cinderella shoes And bright yellow dress With those marching and glittering Pearl earrings and necklace But I see your Cinderella pain Like myself on the mirror.
