It is just a couple of days to yet another Christmas, festivities all around us, people running helter skelter to get goodies with which to celebrate the yuletide season. But have you ever pondered on how the nativity of Jesus Christ or "Christmas" as we know it today came to be? Did you know that it was until the 9th century A.D (almost 900 years after Christ was born) that Christmas became a major festival/feast? So why did it take that long to be recognized worldwide as the birthday of our Lord and Savior?
