This question has been on my mind for a long while. Can anybody in the financial know pls explain why prices of goods at the mall are always a kobo, dollar, pound etc short of the big figure?for instance a good maybe advertised at #499.99k,why cant it just go for the approximate figure of #500.00k?Is it marketing strategy?Because for sure,I know in Nigeria you'll never get the one kobo change, besides,of what use is the one kobo?
