I bought a brand new Hp655 laptop a year ago, the system has never had an issue. few weeks ago when I was cleaning the system buttons, I failed to turn it off. After cleaning the system in a working condition I did turn it off. So that same day, I tried turning it on but the system failed to boot till date. I also tried refreshing from the windows8 startup menu but the refresh operation was not successful. Currently, I want to format the system that I can reinstall a new windows in it. please hv used the shift F8 method but it's not working, or mayb I didn't do it well. Nairalanders please how best can I format the system. I really want to do this my self

the fault is frm the hardware, probably ur hardisk.
