Oga Capitals you'll probably see this late but I want to confirm something.. Take a look at GU. It is currently trading below 1.5400. This is a good zone for a buy in my own view depending on where the buy confirmation comes (amount of risk etc..). Please I'd like to know what you think of this zone.

Weekly candle engulfing all the previous on the chart is not a good sign for bulls you may want to watch it boss just my opinion i may be wrong.

I think the current down move is a retest which reduces the probability of it holding, the profit margin is big though. This is just a pointer that the GBP is a good buy against at least one other currency . I checked and saw GBPAUD. I m closely watching that now. If I get a signal I ll go in light and gun for just 250pts cos I dont see the potential of it going 500pts without a stiff sell response

If this level 2.1505 (already slightly breached )is breached thus forming a bearish pinbar on the weekly , it would be an indication of a bearish trend formation.
a sell from here offers an opportunity for 1400 pips and a buy 870 or more if patient a enough for a new high

Hmm... Guess it's hard to catch it all Kinda hard fishing out these retests for me so I guess I have to stick with taking the ones with the least amount of pips in risk and allow stop loss do its job.

For example I was looking at the USDCHF and it also looked like a retest in my own chart but I can see it is turning out fine.

Anyways thanks so much. Learnt a lot from you in this time. I can confirm from my results that taking trades with same amount of risk and holding is definitely a less stressful way of achieving trading goals. Imagine making 3000+ pips by looking at the chart for less than 10 minutes total each day. Before I'd be happy with making over 1000 pips in any month after tens of hours of screen time monthly.

Weaning myself off checking price every hour is still taking time though..

opened a sell, even if i recommend waiting after the 10:30 news, but this seems to be a very strategic position for this pair..determining its medium term future direction.

Lets hope it arrives its destination safely, but I m locking in abt 70-80pts, so at least I can get something in the event of a surprise reversal. Would have handled it slightly differently if I was less busy and could monitor it frequently. would have been checking the channel line and observing for multiple sell signals. Good luck to us

Yep, provides more time for engagement in other worthwhile activities especially now that I m on leave and my day job as well when I have to be at the office.

I got better at deciding which ones are retests with time, but was easier for me cos I m looking at several pairs so there's is no pressure to trade a pair that I m doubtful is a retest. but you are looking at a handful sort of restrictive but perfect if it works for you.

Got a GBPAUD buy an offshoot of the GBPUSD you talked of, but the tp is much smaller, 350pts, and I have just one trade. that's what I was referring to by handling each trade differently, but the process for taking the trade is exactly the same as I would have taken a trade that's gunning for 1000pts and I m taking 4 trades at same price. may yet make a lower low though but its all planned out
