we should not tacitly approve the violent nature of some muslims.

they should learn to adjust.
their views should not go to the frontpage

It is just plain annoying. Since you cannot tolerate any sort of opinion, discussion or criticism, from non muslins even if it was well intentioned, then please, keep those threads in the religion section. These guys created a condition designed to keep people of different faith from commenting on their threads, then DON'T bring your threads to the front page. Keep it in that section where your types can visit it and perform their ablution on it.
Everything on the front page is meant for EVERYONE registered on NL to comment and share their views. Don't force your opinions on non muslims if they are excluded from your discussions by taking the posts to the front page.
Non Christians are welcome to piss and shyte on threads discussing the Christian faith, but its nothing to Christians. They have a higher objective than such earthly abuse. They are tolerant and peaceful folks.
