This is what I found on UNN site,
The 2015/2016 POST-UTME screening will commence
on the 11th of August, 2015.
There will be two batches namely:
 Batch 1- Candidates whose names were originally
sent by JAMB (Verified List). Registration ends on 7th
August, 2015.
 Batch 2 – Candidates who were omitted in the
original list sent from JAMB but selected UNN as first
choice and scored 200 and above. Registration for
this batch ends on 12th August, 2015.



So this implies that the policy has been scrapped!!!
But, Don't u think the name sent by JAMB to the universties, would get preferential treatment

Wonder if Uniben would adopt this batch thing.

If you ask me, there's nothing like preferential treatment. Each departments has cut off mark. Law and Med 4 instance is 70. So all what we need do is hit the cut - off mark and we're in. Candidate going 4 med with 70(catchment thing), above 70, 4get it u're a doctor in the making... No preferential treatment and there's like it those candidates whose names were sent by Jamb that would be admitted first.

One common mistake ppl make is writing d two last alphabets of d reg numbr in lower case. Did u?
