Good Morning Guys. I need some advise on my car’s air condition system. For some time is wasn’t cooling so I was advice to change the compressor from automatic to manual and also the condenser, which I did two days ago. After changing both, the engine drops when I put on the A.C (the AC is working perfectly well). The A.C man and a friend I asked with the same car both said the engine would regulate itself after a while. I’ve used it for a whole day and it’s still that same thing. Can anyone advice me? Thanks |

Replace with the same compressor that came from factory. 2 Likes |

abatically: The only sensible thing to do. Toyota were not stupîd when they opted to install an automatic compressor, in conjunction with a matched ECU and engine. |

Naija mechs are idiots. I am looking for a specialist. My ac chills very well in d morning and nite but blows air in d afternoon. I was addviced to change compressor na d condenser. I just ignored dem..dey sed I shud switch to manual. So Toyota was stupid for puttin automatic? If u put a manual ur car will be vibrating. Oga go and buy back urauto compressor b4 ur car knock engine. I drive a 2007 camry SE I4 |

Check ur maf sensor. Or other connections, something might have been disconnected. |
