Wait no more

Let the 2nd number =50

From the question, the 1st number is 20% more than the 2nd number, ie [20/100 * 50=10]
Therefore the 1st number, 50+10= 60

Now the 2nd number is 10 less than the 1st.

How much percent is 10 from 60?

Converting to % we have [10/60 * 100]

=16.666667.

Does this question really need any calculation?? D 1st number is 20%more than the 2nd, definitely, the 2nd number will be 20% lesser than the 1st.... that's all

let first number= x. the second number =y. then x is 20% greater than y gives x= 20%y
