The reason I opened this thread is to highlight this issue, since it seems most nairalanders are unaware of the term, or the fact that body doubles are quite common ( or sometimes required) in movie production.

The matter of blackmailing people based on a p.orn movie you thought you saw them in, is a different thing entirely and I do not wish it to be brought up in this thread.

Stunt doubles are common knowledge. Most of those crazy stunts we see are done by them and not the actors save guys like Jackie Chan of the good old days. I hear Jason Statham does some of those his wicked stunt moves too.
