There’s so much hype about this movie which is now
showing in cinemas and even non-movie lovers are eager to
watch it. This romantic comedy film produced by Ayo
Makun, features popular Nigerian acts such as Ramsey
Nouah and Mercy Johnson. Several Celebrities have also
shared pictures of the movie poster on their instagram
pages and tweeted about it too.

2. Crazy Coloured Lipstick:
Ladies have gone nuclear with the colours of lipstick they
apply- purple, blue, orange … basically, all the colours of the rainbow have been turned into lipstick!

3. Leather Wardrobe Items:
Leather is a new trend amongst celebrities- red carpet, show
performances, casual hangouts, you name it. Several
celebrities have been spotted in leather outfits and its

Nigerian Celebrity on the highest level in Candy Crush, which makes one wonder, how many hours does he devote to this game?

5. Waist Trainers:
After Kim Kardashian ‘led the way’ by sharing a photo of
herself in this slimming item, several other Nigerian
celebrities have shared similar pictures of themselves in
Waist Trainers (and of course, many people have identified
waist trainers as another business opportunity).

6. Cropped tops:
One would have thought that the conservative nature of
Africans would prevent this Western trend from creeping
into the wardrobe of our local celebrities, but no wayy! Our
celebrities have shown that they are quite ‘versatile’ in their
wardrobes. Crop tops have become a trend on the red
carpet, music videos and in everyday life.

7. Interesting Election Hashtags:
This is a new trend amongst our politicians- picking up
modern ways of campaigning for the 2015 elections. Sen.
Obanikoro picked up #Koronation for his Lagos gubernatorial campaign and now, Fmr. Gen Buhari has
picked up #Febuhari for his Presidential Campaign. Quite
interesting, don’t you think?
