Some ignorant people still say "CAF give X player APOTY, Hayatou gives this APOTY". The same way some people say "FIFA like Messi and give him WPOTY award" blabla bla.

This argument is ignorant, as I have always said.

All the African countries voted independently from CAF's final 5 shortlist.

Did they all gang up? Will CAF manipulate a result they will make public

Anyway, attached is the result of the vote.

Each country was asked to give its 1st choice 5 points, second 4 points in that order.

13 countries ranked Yaya highest (5 point), 2 countries (Guinea and Swaziland) rated Enyeama the best, two (Botswana and Gabon) rated Pierre Aubameyang the best, 4 (Ghana, Sao Tome, Zambia and Togo rated Gyan the best, while 3 (Nigeria, Cape Verde and Tanzania) rated Musa the best.

Over all, their aggregate scores:
Yaya - 175 points
Aubameyang - 120 points
Enyeama - 105 points
Gyan - 94 points
Musa - 78 points.

So If nigerians Rallied Under Enyeama More He would have defeated Yaya.

I sincerely beleived '2014'. Enyeama Did Well Than Yaya? He was Exceptional than YAYa, he won Nations cup, was in a good form in the world cup, he was in a blistering form in ligue 1 and was rated very high. What else is needed??
