Just had a test few weeks ago. Though the result was good. I feel somehow about the whole test, becos the hospital was a small old private one, the lab tech didnt ask any question apart from my name neither councelling. Secondly the result came out fast (in less than 6hours) and I heard that rapid test can take 20 to 30 min and blood is gotten from a fingerprick. Mine was gotten through a syringe from my vein in my arm. Please I am confused. Did the guy really do a correct test. Advice please

Preliminay RVS (HIV test) takes about 5 minutes...and he needed to take ur blood in a 2ml syringe for confirmatry test if the preliminary test comes out positive...so no need for stress...just use condom and avoid infected blood or sharp objects and carry out another test after 3 months...Buh Remember being positive is not a death sentence.
