Hello All, Are you interested in having your own clothing line, online or physical clothing store or fashion blog? I am hoping to find like-minded people to discuss with and maybe team up with to succeed in the industry. I am based in Lagos and my focus is female office wear. Looking forward to meeting you on this thread! |

Am interested in having my own fashion outfit someday, and am working towards it cos am currently learning how to sew. |

Annie09: I am not a tailor so I planned to hire people to sew for me but all the ones I tried are quite terrible and not willing to improve. It's been quite stressful and I have wasted a lot of money so I'm now considering making items with manufacturers with clothing factories. Do you plan to train tailors to assist you? |

I actually work and sew for now, but my long term goal is to own a fashion empire. probably when I'm 35, I'd stop working and focus on my business full term. |

Does anyone know someone who has started their fashion business who can give me some tips on selling and marketing? I don't want to wait because I feel you should start and gain some ground before leaving work. I have also learnt a lot in my short time and I think there is so much more to learn, so assuming you can just resign at a certain age and start immediately might not be accurate. |
