"Each new crime committed by Boko Haram exceeds the last in brutality. This is a direct consequence of the environment of total impunity in which Boko Haram operates. Every time they get away with mass murder, rape and the enslavement of women and children, they are emboldened," Angelina Jolie, special envoy of U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, said in a statement.http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/12/africa/boko-haram-deadliest-attack/ 5 Likes 2 Shares

Celebrities again! Damn! Now i'm being to think the world was right to ignore Baga.I mean If the Nigerian leaders are less concerned about their citizens why should world leaders bother? If you've forgotten about the Chibok saga too soon; a campaign that went viral and well beyond international borders. They haven't. At one time, the whole world was involved for Nigeria. But even with the added pressure and help, our government did absolutely nothing to help. Those girls were fed to the scavengers. Now all well comes Baga massacre. And not even our very own leader was at hand to condemn or promise justice for the innocent. Nothing but campaign. And more campaign! Everything in Nigeria happens for a political gain. Until we vote for change, nothing will change. |

An environment of total impunity is that last thing you want to provide a criminal. Boko Haram has got theirs and it's no wonder the spate of violence has not reduced. |

Everybody is screaming about Nigeria and Boko Haram, to think the individual saddled with the responsibility of protecting us is busy campaigning for re-election is gross impunity and abysmal shame on the presidency which has been subjected to ridicule no thanks to the amazing irresponsive and irresponsible way GEJ is showing his total lack of the ability to deal with the situation. |

Like seriously, all sections on Nairaland is getting boring; the rate at which these APC & PDP partisans derails thread with their clueless GEJ and GMB campaign is becoming annoying. Mods, Y'all should be abiding by Rule Number one- they should take their silliness to their war-zone(politics section) Just look at the junks of gibberish above me. I pray God open their eyes to see that GEJ is no different from GMB. Smh |
