I have been observed this severally,Especially immigration staff,it assumed they don't know their job again.what they look for is money from traveller without doing the proper check but ask traveller most stupid questions.

My bro and his family came home from uk with British passport with visa coming to Nigeria, when going back at MMI,he gave his passport to Immigration to check,he did not check before asking him to step aside and ask maybe he came in with Visa?this causes a great war at the airport before other travellers intervene, and taught the immigration his job, what is suppose to do,Even though,British Passport holder does not required a visa from Nigeria to UK.

I will post the Immigration guy and his Number here soon.

i can understand what you brother pass through. But don't post his name and number here. But one thing i advise any traveler to do is do the right thing and insist on the right thing. When he ask for something, simply say next time. And please don't give otherwise, the next time u didn't, they will insult you.

dont mind them,

last time i was travelling back to the uk, dats how they started harrassing

my poor niece.

imagine me n my 80yr old mum, begging those police at the entrance to let my 16yr old niece into the departure hall.

the poor has been crying from home and they just made it worse.

it was one ''big man'' wit escorts that now came to ask them wat the problem was , and they quickly said '' no problem say''

and shouted to my niece '' smallie enter, u too cry sef''

by this time i had become very upset.

it just ruined my trip.

Lol.. i could be so stubborn that the day they did this to me, i did not even mind missing my flight. The main thing is that you should go there early, do all the checkins you need to do on time and hold all necessary documents at hand. That way, you are at nobodys mercy and you can have the time in the world to argue, before the departure of your flight, they must let you go or somebody somewhere that matters would intervene..

I came back from Nigeria a few days ago and I have to say the staff from the security check at the airport is rude as hell. If you are nice to them they will take advantage of it so you have to show them some attitude.
