Android TV is a very enticing piece of technology
that is going to make its way into more homes in
the near future.
This unit is designed with the intention of making
television programming more flexible and enjoyable. It
runs with a very easy to use setup and only takes a few
moments for a user to start it up. This is designed to
help with creating a strong setup that is not all that hard
for anyone to use when finding a way to enjoy television
and movies at home.

What Pieces Are On It?
Also known as the Nexus Player, the Android TV
device is a box that can be attached to a television set
with ease. It works with a primary receiver that can be
plugged into an electric outlet and then connected to a
television set through a separate HDMI cable. It does
not take much time for people to set it up.
This also uses a remote control that is somewhat
identical to the controller the Nintendo Wii gaming
console used in that it features a series of easy to identify
and use buttons and a simple pad to help move up and
down a menu. An optional gaming-style controller that
is similar to what the Microsoft Xbox 360 uses is
available too although that is more for controlling
Android-based games on the device.

Important Specs
The Android TV unit has a 1.8GHz quad core Intel
Atom processor and on 802.11ac 2×2 Wi-Fi connection so it can stay online and work quickly. Also, the body of
the unit is only a few inches in diameter so the circular
unit can be stored right under the television set it is
attached to. The fact that the only wires that are needed
are an HDMI wire and the one for the electric plug is
especially popular among users.

What Programming Works?
The device uses an extensive variety of applications that
can link users up to all their streaming media accounts. It
uses Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora, YouTube and
Crackle apps among many others.
It also works with Google Play so people can load up
their movies, music and gaming apps onto a television
screen and play them from there. The optional gaming
controller will particularly be useful for the gaming
aspect of the unit. This can all connect to one’s Google
account with ease.

What About Searching?
Google uses a microphone feature to make searching for
items easy to handle. A person can touch the microphone
button and say something in order to get one’s search to
be a little easier to facilitate.
People can search for programs based on the apps that
they can watch them on and the different types of
interests that they might hold. It may not be too hard
for people to use this the right way.
It is ideal for people to see how the Amazon TV Nexus
Player can work. This is a unit that is designed with a
powerful processor and is not all that hard for people to
start up. It also works with an extensive variety of
programming options that are sensible and ideal for
anyone to hold onto when getting something ready as
needed.
