As 2015 UME exam draw nearer, it is indeed wise to expose the reason of students failure in this particular exam. You may ask, is it due to inadequate preparation of candidate? Yes but not really.
REASONS WHY STUDENTS FAILS.
1. Lack of Information :- Yes information! '' In a school of knowledge information is the greatest asset " - Anonymous
"where there is no prophecies people are destroyed" - The Bible.
Information is a great item a candidate must have, in terms of; when will the exam start? Venue of the exam? What are the do's and don'ts of the exam? This are very essential. Thank God for the internet you can get such infos from sites like www.nairaland.com, www.elitesplanetblog.com, www.myschool.com.ng.
2. Adequate Preparation :- 'Proper preparation prevents poor performance' they say you need to prepare hard, read through syllabus repeatedly until you understand the last letter in it. This will give you the required confidence you need.
3. Don't Fear Failure :- The fear of failure is the begining of failure. Don't compromise on answer to a particular question, choose the answer , that attract your best mentality. Do the ones you know best, and support with ones you are not sure of so well. It worked for me! So you.
4. Don't eat on the exam day Morning :- Research has it that human beings are physically alert in the morning when the stomach has welcome no food. Do you know it takes actions of the brain to digest your food? Yes ! Which means your brain will not be 100% effective. I don't mean you should fast, but it's good if you can. And if you can't, just take a cup of coffee.
5. Adhere to the Examiner's instructions carefully :- 'obiedience is better than sacrifice'. Obey all instructions. Like, make sure you submit after the exam. This is a simple instruction that may cost you another year. If you don't, you are OYO{ON YOUR OWN}.
6. Pray Before And After the Exam:- Either you are a christian, moslem , Ifa priest or pagan. Make God first and last in anything you do. Prayer is the answer key. It opens all doors.
7. Is there negative markings? Forget about this believe in yourself, and trust God.

If you can do all these. You will be glad after the exam and when you check your result.
