Dear original poster; Please answer the following: Age? Bowel habits? Stool frequency and consistency? Bleeding? Itching? Wt. loss? Is pain with defecation or urination? Possible causes of anal pain: Hemorroids Anal fissures - more likely Anal abscess Anorectal cancer Recomendation: 1. Get digital rectal exam + or - anoscopy 2.
