Manchester United host Middlesbrough at Old Trafford on Monday, 20.00 GMT. That's 9pm Nigerian time. Manchester United barely managed a late win over Stoke City yesterday after a less than impressive performance. I sincerely doubt that they can get away with a performance like that against Middlesbrough on Monday night. Patrice Evra is still missing from Ferguson's line up, but Berba seemed to be finally okay when he featured in Friday's game. As usual, SAF will not have an easy time selecting the strike force for Boro. A win is necessary if United are to move further up the table and overtake Chelsea and Liverpool. They've won the Premiership title back-to-back, but anything wrong in gunning for it a third time?  Middlesbrough lost their last league game to Everton. The team is currently struggling to remain above relegation zone, and a loss on Monday just might put them there. United are the favorites here, with them having a better squad and home advantage. . .but perhaps Boro can get something. . .  |
