43 year old Nigerian Entrepreneur, Taofik Okoya has been featured in an Elle Magazine Article.

The magazine expounds on how Taofik started his business making dolls that were styled and modelled as black African queens based on the popular Nigerian tribes, after he was unable to find such an offering when his niece requested he buy a doll for her.

Now his dolls are retailing all over Africa, particularly in his home country Nigeria where they are currently outselling Mattel's Barbie.

With an online platform, the African Queen dolls are also selling and currently being exported to countries as far away as Brazil.
