Please as the topic indicates I'll like to know if I can grow maize and harvest within three month.I intend planting the yellow maize soon and would like to know how long it'll take to mature for harvest.

Yes, you can plant maize & harvest in less than three months.
Most maize varieties available now are ready to harvest in roughly 2 months.
Yield per acre/ hectare depend on (a) variety of seed (b) management ie fertilizer application, rainfall/ irrigation etc.

Thanks a lot sir for your contribution. Please I'll like to know if buying maize seeds for planting from the market would be suitable or do I need to purchase from the seed council. I'm looking at getting maximum yield per acre. Thanks and God bless.

The seed council is better. U'll get more recent varieties & professional advice on management practices.

Also try to control rodents. Grasscutters can cause serious damage.
They cut the stems and eat the pulp inside.

Find out from people in the area if grasscutters are prevalent.
