In getting a good vehicle of your choice at a cheaper rate, I want to believe you have certainly made enquiries from neighbors and friends; you might have even surf the internet looking for that good deal. Most people go to eBay or community sites like Craigslist in search of a good used car.

Friends, if you are looking for a good fairly used car, or a brand new car that will not cost you so much money; government car auction is the best place to be.

For a long time now government car auctions have been a really good source for getting brand new or fairly used cars at a giveaway price. Different types of vehicles are sold in government car auctions ranging from new and fairly used cars, trucks, suv's, trailers and many more.

This is because whatever the government has seized, has to be auctioned in due time and when you are alerted about this then you are in for a great deal.

In government car auctions, it is very common to find a new car being auctioned for about $1000 or even less than that, yes it is very possible. I am talking about vehicles that have been seized by government agencies such as the Customs, FBI, SSS, DEA and the likes.

Finding used cars or trucks at a nearby car dealer for this cheap will probably never happen. Even so many local car dealers regularly visit these government agencies for car auctions; they purchase these "like-new" vehicles and sell them at a very high price.

The government usually charges a little fee to participate in any of their car auction exercise, trust me, the participation fee is nothing that anybody cannot afford; the participation fee is inferior to the deals found at government car auctions.

Trust me, government car auctions are blessings in disguise if you know where to locate them in your country; it is pretty common in the US and Britain.

Take for instance you paid a fee of $50 to participate in a government car auctions., and you bought a 2013 Toyota Camry for $1,500, then you just purchased a $25,000 worth vehicle for $1550, this is pretty sweet and that is one advantage of these government car auctions.

However, fairly used vehicles are becoming very cheap these days irrespective of the model. Even cars that hold their value well are still not worth as much as they used to be a couple of years back, this is owing to the economy, the economy is playing a major role in the way used cars are priced.

Where then can government car auctions be found?
You have to search for it if you truly know the many benefits accrued to getting a vehicle from government car auctions. The newspapers, magazines, ads on the radio and television and even on the internet are all reliable sources for getting information about government car auctions.
