When God created Adam,he was all alone in the garden of eden and devil felt he pose no threat to him.But our God decided to make him a helpmate cos He thought Adam needed help.Before God made Eve,He took his time and deposited a lot of gifts into her (both spiritually and physically).The Lord gave her a spiritual womb to complement the effort of the man and also a physical womb in which she keeps d seeds she receives from her husband.By this,d woman multiplies d world.

That was what the devil saw and he went after her vigourously and being a weaker vessel,d woman fell.But the Lord did not gave up on her cos he pronounced that the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent(devil) and this finally came to pass when the virgin Mary gave birth to our Lord Jesus Christ.And He throughout His stay on earth bruised the head of the devil setting the captives free

In a nutshell,Christian brothers and sisters must be very careful in choosing their life partners.Many people prepare for wedding but not marriage and the first step to marriage is getting engaged to a future partner.Getting engaged is a formal activity and it is not a friendship matter that has no formal commitment.
