Have you ever stood by the Bar Beach or any beach at all, and tried to periscope the Atlantic? Over the distance, the ocean bends into an ominous curve and the approaching ship masts stick UP their noses in a tangent as if they are crawling up a hill.

Have you ever stood akimbo on the railroad and stared at the distance? Far ahead of you, the two rows of the track eventually taper off and merge into one.

This phenomenon is called OPTICAL ILLUSION. Optical illusion is responsible for the SPIRITUAL BARRENNESS of millions of people. They CONSTRUCT their lives on the flawed testimony of their PHYSICAL SENSES!

Why You Should Never Depend on Your Physical Senses
Our senses can only perceive 3 DIMENSIONS; yet there are LIMITLESS DIMENSIONS in the spiritual world to which we belong. When the Bible says, “All things are possible,” it is not talking about our beggarly three dimensional thinking.

OUR SENSES WERE NEVER GIVEN US FOR SPIRITUAL NAVIGATION! Which is why a peasant in the village can discover God while the erudite professor of philosophy cannot. Which is why you can never “prove” .....http://successflame.com/spirituality/reach-your-highest-potential-by-living-beyond-the-senses/

Yes in the Spiritual world ,no need for the worldly senses... But in the physical world, we were not made with our senses for nothing.. Every part of us is very important and useful..

To keep it short, i have seen more than a few people lose their lives or become physically injured because they did not use their senses well.

Died because they did not look with their eyes bothways before entering traffic..

Died because they did not listen with open ears free from head phones of loud music, to the horn blowing at them to commot from the road as an accident approached..

Died because they did not drink slowly to taste with their tounge ,the water before swallowing, to know it was bleach in the bottle after they had already ingested vinegar just before drinking hastily what they thought was water..

Died because they did first not use their nose to smell the same bottle of water that turned out to be bleach...

Died because they did not use their skin to feel the heat on the surface of the ground, before stepping on it to find a thin layer of rock break through into a hot cache of volcanic lava...

Use all the gifts we were created with in this life.. Our senses are among our greatest gifts which greatly aid in survival and helping each other..Some people also have super senses and it makes them seem supernatural like a spiritual ability beyond the senses, but it is just sharper senses... Senses are a gift of the spirit... But yes i agree as well that there are realms beyond the senses that are very much important.. They can help us have prophetic vision into the future which can also save or simpky help lives of ourselves and others... smiley
