The Vice is a show that has received some criticism for focusing on sob stories and not the talent, and Craig’s back story was one we were reminded of constantly. When speaking, he suffers from a stammer, and his father walked out on the family when Craig was six, something that he sang about in a self-penned ditty performed during the show semi-final.

Harrison Craig captured the hearts of the Australians throughout the talent hunt show. Since he has been able to talk, he has dealt with a stammer that has severely affected his speaking abilities. Singing became a source of happiness for Harrison, who in 2005 joined the Victorian Boys choir and devoted himself to perfecting his now exceptional voice.
