Lolz. Dearie, the explanation is simple concerning e-transactions. You'd be required to provide the 16 digits on frontal part of your card. Eg; 1234 5678 9012 3456. Once you've supplied this, you'd be asked to provide you Card Verification Value (Security) which is a 3 digit pin at the back of the card. Eg; 112.

After this, you'd be ask to provide your DOB (although not in all cases). You'd also be asked to provide the expiration date on your card. Eg; 01/20.

Next, you may be taken to your card's homepage. In my case, I'm redirected to "Verified by Visa" page where I confirm some details and voila, end of transaction.

So how is pin requested for in this regard Even Quickteller online does not request for pin. NO WEBSITE WOULD ASK FOR YOUR PIN! The best they can ask for is a token generated code. Lobatan

"Select ur card type, den enta d 16 card digits, month n year of ur card xpiring date, c v v digit and ur 4digits pin. Den u will b redirected n send otp code to d num u r using 4ur bank alert n d code wil expire after 10mins, it wil bring a page 4u to enta d otp code so u must enta d code immediately u reciv it, and click on pay... I av bin smiling since.... D guy no wan gree. Actually, card pin is not needed. Bin using master card like forever for transactions.
I knw zenith $ gtb uses securecode and u av a password(buh not ur atm card pin) to enta at d final stage of confirming d transaction. Other finz needed to fill is d card number(16 digits in front), cvc @ d back of d card, month $ year of expiration of d card.

Brother, I get ur angle of argument but u should know that there are. Different payment sites and even merchants. Sef....all of them hve different security measures....for most Nigerian site, pin is needed truly, but brother, some transaction no need pin code oo, still trnfered money from my gtb acount yestdai and all I was asked for verification is my last 4 digits, as they also told u, aliexpress dnt need ur pin code too...even check some foreign sites, em won't ask for your pin, just datas on ur card is enuf....Abeg atleast verify their claims nd then add that to things u ddnt knw buh got to know hia........#puffs weed.......#if u no com gree aftr this one....contact me
