Between Gaining Admission And Getting Employed, Which Is More Difficult ? by Tolulopefinest(m): 1:37pm On Feb 28, 2015
There has been an increased argument almost every where in Nigeria between job seekers and admission seekers into the university.
Considering the increased number of graduates that are unemployed especially what we saw during the recruitment program done by NIS last year. Even an undergraduate in the universities are not sure of getting a job in the labour market.
Also looking critically at the overwhelming number of candidates that applied for UTME exam yearly and the number of candidates the universities admits, it shows that gaining admission into Nigeria universities can be compare to the difficulty in entering heaven.
Out of 100% , just 35% are usually admited... Now the question is Which is more difficult between the two ?....Needs your contribution

None is easy oooo

....... I think getting a job is easier, cos nowadays marketing jobs r everywhere and u can also be self employed, so if u dnt wnt to be idle u settle for marketing but school! If u dnt get it u r going no where, there is nothing like u applied for medicine n u were offered one agric cource, u wnt have any oda choice than to jump at it or sit home for the next 12 months. My opinion

Gaining admission (into a federal public university especially) is generally harder than getting employed.

I think if its between admission and getting your dream job, then it is getting the dream job. Lots of guys who have graduated( haven gained admission) are still out there without a job or "managing" some ridiculous offers.
