Two young boys were raised in the home of an alcoholic father. As young men, each went his own way. Years later a psychologist, who was analyzing the effects of alcoholism on children, searched out these two men.

One had turned out to be like his alcoholic father. The counselor asked him, "Why did you become an alcoholic?"

The son answered, "What else would you expect if you had a father like mine?"

When the psychologist found the other son, he was amazed to find he had never taken a drink in his life. He asked, "Why did you decide to never drink alcohol?"

The other son answered, "What else would you expect if you had a father like mine?"

The two boys grew up under the same circumstances but had turned out completely different. Why?

Because it is not what we go through that determines what we become. It is how we ResponD that determines what we become.
