A Wanna be Superman hero was left
battered and bloodied after he
challenged a car thief in Blackburn,
Lancashire.
Danny Mason, 37, popped outside for a
cigarette during a family party when he
spotted a man trying to steal a car, and
approached him. The car thief obviously
is a brutal fighter because he beat the
crap out the real life superman. Mason
was so battered that his wife fainted on
seeing him after the incident.
Mr Mason, who lives in Kidderminster,
Worcestershire, said:
“It all happened so quickly that I did
not have a chance to think about it.
Looking back, I thought I was doing the
right thing by speaking to this man, but
now I am in so much pain that I cannot
sleep or work. Doctors say I may never
walk again”
He was found slumped unconscious on
the ground by horrified family members.
Mr Mason was covered in so much blood
that his family thought he had been shot.
Mr Mason was taken by ambulance to
Royal Preston Hospital before being
transferred to the facial injury unit at
Royal Bolton Hospital where he was
found to have a fractured cheek, a
ruptured kidney, broken nose, a cracked
spine and cut lip.
