There is no doubt in this, his closest rival, Messi, is a wehole 10 million pounds behind.

Real Madrid's talisman and portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo tops Goal.com's list of World's Richest Footballers.

Barcelona's Messi, who was just £2m short of Ronaldo's wealth in 2014, continues to generate huge amounts off the field through both commercial tie-ins and property moves, which have seen him build up an extensive portfolio.

Neymar charted third in the Goal Rich list, with he and his family still benefiting from a huge chunk of the forward's transfer from santos in 2013.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic came in fourth with Manchester United and England striker Rooney the fifth and final player to register personal wealth of over £100m.
