About the Founder and Executive Director of EsteemCounseling -

Nina Okeke, MA.MS.CAT(Certified Anger Therapist) is the Executive Director and Founder of Esteem Counseling and Training Services. She is an Executive Coach, Parent Coordinator and Trainer specializing in assisting individuals working for Government Agencies and Private Organizations reach peak performance in both their professional and personal lives. As a well known Seminar Facilitator and a Professional Counselor, she has trained thousands of professionals at every level of management. Her areas of focus include Empowerment Training; Anger and Conflict management, Building strong Leadership skills, Promoting Workplace Harmony, team building, Family Coaching, Communication/Listening skills, Stress Management, Substance, physical, sexual and spousal Abuse Counseling and work-life balance.

Nina Okeke has a Master´s degree in counseling and she obtained extensive graduate studies in marriage and family therapy concentrating in Executive Coaching using Conflict Resolution Framework. Nina Okeke has extensive experience in training during her tenure as a Case manager and Unit Supervisor with Texas Department of Family and Protection. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and Mental Health America, Fort Bend County Chapter. Nina Okeke has over ten years experience in human services. Mrs. Okeke has turned a lot of lives around both locally and internationally. Nina Okeke has helped people to build better lives for themselves both at work and at home. During her seminar, she talks about her intriguing experience as a Child/family Specialist Supervisor for the State of Texas and Qualified Parent Coordinator and how she reduces conflicts within organizations, schools, among team-members and families in crisis.

CONFLICT RESOLUTION TRAINING -
All of us experience conflict. We argue with people close to us, our spouses, children,co-workers, disagree with friends, team members and sometimes quarrel with strangers. At times we lose sight of the fact that all this conflict is normal. So long as people are individuals there will be the potential for conflict. Since we can't prevent conflict, the most important thing is to learn how to handle, reduce or manage it in productive ways. As we all know that Conflict results in Anger. STRESS MANAGEMENT-

- Identify the symptoms of stress overload
- Identify how lifestyle choices can contribute to stress and how we can work toward making
different choices.
- Develop some stress reduction techniques to help manage stress right now.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - This is a Resource being available to employees of well established Agencies, schools, or Corporations. Employees utilize this resource when they maybe experiencing emotional problems due to domestic violence, physical abuse/neglect, sexual abuse or molestation, conflict with family members, friends, neighbors, schoolmates or co-workers, or when they are suffering from mental illness like depression, substance abuse, health problems or when undergoing divorce.


PARENTING WORKSHOPS TO EMPLOYEES - Our strong belief is that children have the right to grow up in homes; - Where there are peace and harmony - Where children feels safe and secure - Where love is communicated unconditionally - Where children are taught the life skills they will need to navigate adult life and most importantly, where children are allowed to develop feelings of self worth.

FAMILY COACHING - This Service is for parents who prefer one-on-one family life education counseling via personal consultation or by telephone counseling, at the client's convenience, for a period of an hour maximum.

DIVORCE COACHING - Divorce is a time of tremendous stress, high emotions, grief and uncertainty. These decisions greatly impact your employee's future and that of their children. Employee receives information about how to communicate with an attorney/lawyer in ways that will save money(pro bono services) and possible mediation process to avoid getting a divorce. SCHOOLS - Esteem Counseling will support teachers by offering seminars to enhance their communication with parents and co-workers and also balancing family and work. We also serve as school counselors to students who are encountering emotional, academic or behavior problems.
