An unspecified number of students have on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 died in a fatal road accident on their way for an excursion. The excursion was scheduled to hold at Mount Afadjato, the highest mountain in Ghana located in the Agumatsa Range area of the country. A source who witnessed the incident said that the driver of the vehicle had almost gone past the mountainous area when suddenly he entered into a ditch leading to the sudden death of the students aged between 7 and 15 years. It was also gathered that the students were heading Kasoa going towards Afadjato area of Ghana when the sad incident happened. At the aftermath of the accident, some of the students were reported missing while most of them were obviously dead. May their souls rest in peace.
