Arsenal again failed in their attempt to rewrite history as they crashed out of the Champions League round of 16 in the hands of AS Monaco.

It was a bitter-sweet night for the gunners as they won away 2-0 but their 3-1 home defeat hunted them as the French side qualified on away goals. It was Arsene Wenger's first win in eight meetings against Monaco and the first time the French side had conceded a goal at home in the competition.

However, it is remarkable that Arsenal are unbeaten in four consecutive Champions League round of 16 second leg game but has crashed out on each occasion, so what is the problem with Arsene Wenger and his gunners team?
