Dolphins of Portharcourt have been thrown out of this year’s Caf Confederation for failing to arrive in time for last weekend’s game at Club Africain.

CAF in its decision communicated through the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF] to Dolphins on Thursday, stated that Dolphins failed to plan for their arrival at the match venue in proper time “to avoid any unforeseen situations.”

The African body also said the Nigeria Professional Football League [NPFL] club and the NFF only informed Caf a day before the match about the flight hiccups encountered by the team.
