An online, free classified ads platform named linknaija.com has been officially launched on, 20th March., 2015, according to its Chief Executive Officer James Gbudu.

The website has been available online for the past several weeks in beta status while going through testing. Mr Gbudu says that now it is fully functional and ready for use.

linknaija.com is modeled after the highly popular Nigerian classifieds website 0lx. It used the same user-friendly format but more innovative with new features.

Most of the services on linknaija.com are free, and users can post their own ads free of charge. There is a minimal charge for premium listing and banner advertisements.

linknaija.com’s primary customers are Nigerians inside Nigeria with several categories like jobs,for sale, real-estate, vehicles, services, relationship/dating and much more.
We already smell some sort of competition in the classifieds market in Nigeria with linknaija.com’s launch.
Will they become number one in the nearest future – they very well might.

You can try out www.weenket.com. It's a new classifed ads website that just came out. The makes it unique is that sellers can actually upload their profile pics for buyers to see and they encourage sellers to put their facebook URL for security purposes. Personally, I really like the website uniqueness.
