Odieh, if you score an own goal when I was growing up in Nigeria , people around would shout Odieh !!!. I think what happened was Odieh a Nigerian defender scored an own goal against the super eagles thereby leading to our elimination from the 1978 or is it 1981 world cup not too sure about that now. Do kids in Nigeria today[b][/b] still use this word for scoring against your team, I will like to know. |
