MERCY CALLS


You wonder
How you got that far
Unholy schemes,
To new extremes;
And your edges;
Almost done loosing their seams.
Freedom it was you say you seek
Now,can't seem to find your way home.
You know you're lost
And your peace,gone.

To others,you can't admit,
But deep inside you know better
And just like bile;
Bitter is the taste of sin.

Stuck in between
A backward retrace of lost steps
And the lots,of your stray.
And sometimes you wonder.
You wonder why you keep wandering.
You could think,
But you long have chosen not to care.
They called it a dead conscience;
But you know it still pricks
At your every faults
But only if you care.
And dear,the one up there,
keeps no tab on your down sittings..
you where told a lie..
But he sure would take joy in your uprisings.
And I wonder
For what pleasure is there in sin?
What life is there in the flesh?
Where is thy peace of mind?
And then,if you change your mind
And care to think,
What will be of repentance
Without brokenness?
And the place of mercy
without your long awaited return?
How far did you go?
It sure did not change the place of mercy.
And who says its late,
Only if you will take one second
Of so much you've been given
And look back;
Mercy calls...........
