Should War Against Corruption Start With Scrapping Of QUOTA SYSTEM? by DickDastardly(m): 8:26pm On Apr 02, 2015
I strongly believe that quota system is a form of CORRUPTION. How? This is a situation whereby people who don't qualify to be in a particular place get there because of where they are from. Thereby stifling merit.
While we wish to see people who embezzle public funds jailed, we also wish to see merit take its place over mediocrity. No fight against corruption will be complete without scrapping this worship of mediocrity. People should be allowed to slug it out for every position. This will increase the velocity of competition among Nigerians and steer us away from having incompetent people in sensitive positions. i.e having square pegs in round holes.
The "CHANGE" Buhari preaches must be hollistic! cool
