Before we begin, in the most polite manner I plead with you drop your bigotry and biases outside or buckle it in, read, ask questions before criticizing. Even if you must criticize drop it in form of questions. Thanks.

Every controversies known to man, pale when in comparison with the subject matter of the lost tribes of Israel. From the mundane to the outright nonsense, there is nothing that has not been said or reported about the mystery of the lost tribes of Israel. There is no greater identity theft known to man, that can be compared to the experiences witnessed on the subject matter.

Everybody lays claim to the identity of the lost tribes of Israel, not only for the prestige and the land that is available to be claimed; but it can safely be concluded that it is an indictment on all those who may have perpetrated the gravest crime known to man. Infact, the very principal players, that contributed to the ‘loss’ of the tribes of Israel, are also staking claim to be ‘identified’ with (and or as) the children of ‘Jacob’. As the Yoruba adage truly says, ‘Where the faeces lie around long enough, different flies of all kind will gather’.

There are different conflicting reports and analysis on the subject matter. To start with, if a survey was conducted, the average interviewee will most likely respond that there are twelve tribes of Israel. Perhaps, owing to the repetitive noise to our ears of this error or deliberate corruption (out of many more), we have unconsciously but erroneously embraced the idea that there are twelve tribes of Israel. For the avoidance of doubt, there are actually ‘thirteen’ tribes of Israel, which is recorded to have evolved from an initial ‘twelve tribes’ (Genesis 35:22-26; 49:1-28; Numbers 2:1-34).

Again, there is also the popular opinion that only ‘ten tribes’ of Israel constituted the ‘lost tribes’. Nowhere is the phrase ‘ten lost tribes’ recorded in the scriptures, leading some to raise questions on the actual number of the tribes of Israel that were ‘lost’. However, the Bible records that the ancient kingdom of Israel was divided into two parts of ‘ten’ and two’ tribes respectively (1Kings 11:1-13,30-39).

It is also unclear which tribes truly and precisely constitute the legendary ‘ten lost tribes’. While these opinions are open to debates, it remains to be proven where the remaining ‘unlost’ tribes are situated. More on this below.

There are many things that can be lost, but there are few things that we can never loose. Even where we desire to loose such, it shall never be lost of us. One of which is ‘truth’. It is subtle, humble, and gentle, to the point of quiet. It is patient and most times hidden in secret, only to be unraveled by time. The longer truth is hidden, the more precious, powerful and invaluable it becomes. Just as the more truth is silenced, the more louder it becomes.

Never in the history of mankind is it ever recorded that a whole nation is obliterated off the face of the earth, never to be traced and their whereabouts unknown, as a consequence of war. Is it not curious how a whole kingdom of many huge nations could disappear with no single evidence, except for various perfidies that are played up for political and economic benefits. How could a people and or kingdom as large as the ancient ‘Israel’, just get ‘lost’ like a grain of sand; evaporating into thin air, and no one is asking questions?

Rather, we take in anything and or everything that is thrown at us, in the name of religion. If we must question, we question wrongly, to undermine everything and everybody that is good, including the God that we claim to serve, just to further our selfish, narrow and or dangerous desires.

Contrary to the common impression that the so-called ‘lost tribes’, may have gone into oblivion from the earth (particularly, through assimilation into other nations), it is however, heart-warming to read that the ‘lost tribes of Israel’ have not been forgotten nor forsaken by God after all (Jeremiah 50:20,33-34; 51:5; Isaiah 14:1; 49:14-21).

‘…… 5. Behold, I will send you ‘Elijah’ the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.’

Malachi 4:1-6
While the Bible, as a body of texts, has been watered down as instrument of ‘religion’ and or a money-making industry, it is actually a profound and accurate instrument of ‘history’. It is thus unsurprising to discover that nowhere in the Bible is the word ‘religion’ ever recorded, neither is it mentioned that ‘God’ ever instituted ‘religion’ as a medium to serve Him. Factually, the ‘concept of religion’ is one of the most powerful and fabulous creation of man, to further subjugate his fellow man.

To further stretch this historical corruption, there are the school of thoughts which believes that the motif ‘The lost tribes’ (and everything it represents) are nothing but a myth. This point of view is further fueled by the different colorations of the point of views of producers of movies, who have made ‘mockery’ of a serious matter, such as these.

To carefully determine the lost tribes of Israel, there are some trails that are recorded in the Bible to serve as guide towards the accurate location of the true descendants of the ancient Israel. Finding the present day descendants is a hotly debated subject, palled in much superfluous mystery. Unnecessary in that there are many Biblical clues and historical landmarks, which makes the task of finding the bulk of the so-called ‘lost’ tribes profoundly less complicating.

The ancient kingdom of Israel is not a one-nation enclave or entity. Contrary to the impression that we may have been made to believe, the ancient kingdom of Israel is recorded to be delineated and ascribed to a ‘multitude’ (i.e. large but numerous bodies) of population and nations, synonymous with the ‘sands of the sea’, with spread ‘far off’ across the ‘ends of the earth’ (Genesis 32:9-12; 48:15-16,19; Deuteronomy 3:27-28; Hosea 1:9-10; Daniel 9:7; Numbers 2:1-34; Isaiah 43:5-6; 49:7-12,14-21; Jeremiah 16:15; 23:cool . Therefore, in order to accurately determine these lost tribes, a wider, more ambitious but practical view of the subject matter, must be critically considered and applied.
The ‘lost tribes’ of Israel also represents many ‘colours’. Thus, the people constituting the ancient kingdom of Israel do not necessarily lean towards a singular colour (i.e. ‘race’), but represents diverse population of many colours and or races (Genesis 37:3).
Nevertheless, the Bible avails us with the primary skin pigmentation of the prinicpal members of the ancient kingdom of Israel as ‘black’ (Job 30:30; Songs of Solomon 1:5-6; Jeremiah 8:21; Lamentations 5:10).

Moreover, the colour(s) of the heraldic flags and or coats-of-arms of kingdoms and nations across the world, holds a critical ingredient towards identifying the present day descendants of the ‘lost tribes’ of Israel.

The ‘lost tribes’ of Israel had no singular cultural, traditional and spiritual identity. This factor is very critical considering that most of the lost tribes of the ancient kingdom of Israel are recorded to have deviated from the ancient tradition and culture as established by ‘Moses'; but embraced and engaged in all forms of idolatory, multi-paganism and religions; which contributed to the loss of the promised land in the first place. Therefore, seeking for and identifying a group of people(s) or nation(s), with particular emphasis on the ancient customs of ‘Israel’ in the present day may be futile or inaccurate.
However, there are some traditional customs and practises, which are renowned and recorded to the ‘lost tribes’ of the ancient kingdom of Israel; though, some of which are assumed by other surrounding kingdoms. These includes: ‘prostrating as a mark of respect and surrender before God, royalty and or elders’ (Genesis 48:12; Psalms 44:25; 72:9: Isaiah 49:23), ‘eighth day circumcision of newly born males’ (Leviticus 12:3; Genesis 17:9-14,23-27; 21:4), ‘casting of lots, otherwise called cleromancy’ (Joshua 18:6-10; 1Chronicles 24:31; Jonah 1:7), etc.

The ‘lost tribes’ of the ancient kingdom of Israel are also recorded, to bearing the names (and blessings) of ‘Abraham’, ‘Isaac’ and or ‘Jacob’ (Genesis 22:15-18; 48:15-16). This is perhaps, the root of the name ‘Israel’, retained by the faction of ‘Ephraim’. On the other hand, while our patriarch and high father ‘Abraham’ is the first to be referred to as an ‘Hebrew’; it is unsurprising to know that ‘Joseph’ is recorded as the second to be described as such (Genesis 14:13; 39:10-14).
The phrase ‘Lost tribes of Israel’ is suggested as the ‘north’ (or the ‘northern’ part) of ancient kingdom of Israel. Commonly recorded to constitute the tribes of ‘Reuben’, ‘Simeon’, ‘Dan’, ‘Naphtali’, ‘Gad’, ‘Asher’, ‘Issachar’, ‘Zebulun’, ‘Ephraim’ and ‘Manasseh’. However, while the tribe of ‘Judah’ (along with the allied tribes of ‘Benjamin’ and ‘Levi’) are traditionally believed to be of the south, the northern region of the ancient kingdom of Israel is also recorded to be the place of the ‘Judah’ (Numbers 2:25-31; Jeremiah 3:17-18; 16:15; 23:8; 31:7-8; Joshua 18:5; ).
‘If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it’

– Paul Joseph Goebbels

There are numerous groups and nations openly claiming descent from specific and or non-specific member(s) of the lost tribes of Israel. I shall not dissipate much energy and time, on these numerous shades of claims, as these claims are freely available to any interested party, on various open sources and platforms. Infact, most of these claims of descent have been proven to be spurious, after being subjected to numerous scientific analysis (including ‘DNA’ studies).

Nevertheless, to further determine the true identity of the ‘lost tribes’ of the ancient kingdom of Israel, efforts have been put into the development of a set of alphabetic codes, otherwise called ‘King David ‘s Principles’. Please see attachments for better understanding.

Upon the applications of the set of codes on the Biblical names, the children of the tribes of ‘Israel’ as constituted in present day, are revealed as not concentrated in any particular region, but are spread across the globe. Moreover, it is also observed that the names of the present day members and groups descenting from the tribes of Israel, bear different names with the same alphabetic, literary and sound alternated values.
