Education and access to knowledge as key factors to the promotion of cultural heritage. It is however, necessary to improve awareness of cultural heritage and the ethics of its care in study curriculum and to identify tools that can be develop to help communities to better understand and conserve their heritage. Cultural heritage education needs to be develop in schools and through informal and participant observation, students will be appropriate of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage visiting and understanding the importance of past and contemporary heritage as common elements.

Learning about historical antecedent of African cultural heritage is to further reinvent and recreate the authentic African culture. More so, in this era of globalization education has gone beyond the manner of books and the four corners of classrooms, rather student exposure to the outside world enhances their educational development and be able to reason beyond their immediate environment in facing different cultural issues anywhere in the world and overcoming them and helps develop cultural sensitivity and participating in national and international cultural heritage tours, festival and displaying the uniqueness of their local culture to the world will enhance their self esteem culturally.
