MR. HUSBAND! YOU ARE NOT SUPERIOR.

Your wife is not a second class human. "In the same way you married men should live considerately with [your wives], with an intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honouring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but [realising that you] are joint heirs of the grace (God's unmerited favour) of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered and
cut off. [Otherwise you cannot pray effectively.]"-1 Peter 3:7 AMP

Your wife is not inferior. God calls both of you joint heirs of the grace of life (God's unmerited favour).
The scripture above warns us (men) that we MUST apply great care in dealing with our wives, otherwise our prayers would remain unanswered. You can't beat
your wife to make her spotless, very glorious and holy. It only involves the Word of God. Disciplining your wife belongs to
God. He didn't give you that
authority. Your wife is not your child whom you are to discipline, and "spare not the rod." Remember, God
causes the rain to shine upon the good and the bad. Hand her over to God and keep using the grace of God to love her.

The elders obtain a good report by faith. Faith can only work by love. God commanded you to love your wife as Christ loved the Church (his bride) and gave Himself for her- Eph. 5:25. The more your deposit love units into her love-bank, the more God will release to you the interest that accrues to you-Lk.6:38; Eph. 5:27. The bible says that by faith " the elders obtained a good report." You can only make
yourself a good husband when you dare to follow God well through His Word-Hebrews 11:2, 6; Gal. 5:6.

CONCLUSION
HUSBAND AND WIFE
"And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful-Colossians 3:14, 15. vs17 And whatsoever ye do in word
or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT
WHATEVER DECISION OR STEP YOU TAKE IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR SPOUSE IS TILTED TOWARD GOD. IF GOD IS HAPPY, HE WILL CAUSE YOUR JOY TO BE FULL ON THE LONG RUN.

Whatsoever you do to your spouse, you have done it to Jesus-Mtt. 25:40.
