Quite observably, i've sat and watched and pondered why there is ALWAYS a best 11 after a monthly, seasonal, yearly basis without seeing it come to reality.

The only one that comes once in a blue moon is the World Best XI(comprising of great stars) Vs Africa's best or another All Stars team. Now Ronaldo and Messi are about to play asides each other if the latest one happens.

It sparks individual ratings and makes others which are contributing to team success look ordinary and thus they may not get more valuable as time goes by, unless the clubs itself decides to do so(mostly done with defenders to help their market).


My take is- its just a waste of analysis if we cant see it happen. If the business gurus can make cash from UCL, etc, why can they make it happen, knowing fully well that there is a 110% outturn of fans if they make it happen. Tired of seeing charts tagged "Best XI" when all we can make out of it is dreaming!
