Iona National Park, Angola

It is the largest national park in Angola, located in Namibe Province, southwest of the country. It became a national park in 1964 which forms part of the northern Namib desert, the only true desert in Southern Africa due to its distinctive habitat and climate. Iona national park is characterized as having a wild dunes, vast plains, rough mountains and cliffs in topography.
