The much anticipated unveiling of Stephen Keshi on Friday did not happen eventually.

Keshi was scheduled to be confirmed as coach of the Super Eagles at the Nigeria Football Federation’s Glass House, but press men were left disappointed.

Only three members of the NFF executive were spotted at the NFF headquarters, while Keshi was reported to be in a hotel close to the Wuse 7 office of the federation.

NFF president, Amaju Pinnick is understood to have jetted out the country, to tie up a deal with a potential sportswear manufacturing company, while Vice President, Seyi Akinwumi was not in Abuja.

“I’m in Lagos and the president is not in the country,” Akinwumi told Goal. “When we are unveiling we will let you know.”

There are also speculations that the NFF is waiting on a change of regime on May 29, to announce a new handler for the national team.

It's really appalling the way Keshi is begging for this job as if his life depends on it. Not the big boss any more
