Selena Gomez is officially on the market once again! It looks like the 22-year-old and her rumored boyfriend, Zedd, have friendzoned their relatively new relationship.

Though the two seemed to be Hollywood's newest "It Couple," it looks like the former Disney darling and the DJ have split due todifferent interests… Even though they never confirmed their couple-y rendezvous in the first place! Color us
INTRIGUED!

A source close to the pair revealed:

"Zedd is all about getting his album ready and being out of the magazines and Selena is all about her movies, Mexico and music. They have just drifted apart romantically but have remained really good friends."

First the songbird had to deal with body shammers while on vacation, and now a supposed split?! Can't Selena catch a break?

The source continued:

"When they were working on promotion for their song everything seemed to be going great but then they went back to their normal lives and figured that they weren't missing each other."

However, there's still a chance they might get back together in the future, as the source said:

“They may come back to the relationship but the friendship side of things seems to be what's important to them both right now."

Justin Bieber doesn't seem to have played a part in the pair's breakup as Gomez and Zedd seemed to have broken things off amicably.

Meanwhile, it looks like Gomez has already moved on from the split...at least in terms of music. Another insider revealed to Hollywood Life that Hit-Boy and Gomez have a professional relationship, not a personal one, and are already working on the popstar's next album.

“That’s not why [Hit-Boy] is there. He’s not involved with her personal life like that and doesn’t want to be," the insider said. The source added: “All [Hit-Boy] knows is that Selena seems happy and enjoying her life at this moment. They’re also working too and Selena’s very focused on her upcoming album.”


Ouch! We think Selena will be absolutely fine. If we learned anything from her relationship with Justin Bieber,she can handle anything.
